Education Course
The theory and movements of QST
Plan to spend 10-15 hours per week on coursework
- Education week 1: April 5–11, 2026—live online class—Wednesday, April 8, 7:30–9:30 a.m. PT
- Education week 2: April 12–18, 2026—live online class—Wednesday, April 15, 7:30–9:30 a.m. PT
- Education week 3: April 19–25, 2026—live online class—Wednesday, April 22, 7:30–9:30 a.m. PT
- To be determined: Individual live video practical exam scheduled with supervisor for April 24, 25, or 26, 2026
- Education week 4: April 26–May 2, 2026—live online class—Wednesday, April 29, 7:30–9:30 a.m. PT
- Education week 5: May 3–9, 2026—no live class—preparation for providing QST to child and family
Clinical Supervision Course
Supervised training when working with one family
Plan to spend 4-5 hours a week on coursework and QST sessions
- Supervision week 1: May 10–16, 2026—pre-therapy sessions
- Family training and goal development (2 sessions)
- Supervision weeks 2–6: May 17–June 20, 2026—the first series
- Trainee meets with family for 10 sessions (twice each week, on non-consecutive days).
- Flexibility may be possible to accommodate supervisor, trainee, or family schedules.
- Includes one live supervision session (virtual) and one videotaped session (to be scheduled with the supervisor).
- Supervision week 7: Thursday, June 25, 2026, 7:30–9:30 a.m. PT—live online conference
- Case presentations
- Supervision weeks 7–10: June 21–July 18, 2026—flexible therapy schedule
- Makeups, extra therapy sessions, or a break—as needed
- Supervision weeks 11–15: July 19–August 22, 2026—the second series
- Trainee meets with family for 10 sessions (two sessions each week, on non-consecutive days).
- Flexibility may be possible to accommodate supervisor, trainee, or family schedules.
- Includes one live supervision session (virtual) and one videotaped session (to be scheduled with the supervisor).
- Supervision weeks 16–17: August 23–September 5, 2026—flexible therapy schedule
- Makeups, extra therapy sessions, or a break—as needed
- Supervision weeks 18–19: September 6–19, 2026—post-therapy sessions with the family
- Post-testing and exit interview (typically one session per week)
- Supervision week 20: September 20–26, 2026—live online conference
- QST-CT’s end-of-course tasks
- Thursday, September 24, 2026, 7:30–9:30 a.m. PT—final case presentations, graduation, celebration!
