Week 3: Treatment Session 5 & 6 Copy

This week, you will make treatment visits 5 & 6. Post your case notes in the Discussion Forum immediately following your treatment visit. Your supervisor will read your weekly case notes on the forum and provide feedback and answer any questions you may have. In your case notes, use ONLY the INITIALS of the child with whom you are working! This will protect the privacy of the child.

As you study the readings, you will realize that every movement is a non-verbal message to the child, and every physical response is the child’s answer to it.

Parents sometimes expect that once they “fix something” with QST, it will stay fixed forever. This is not how qigong works. Children’s responses change a lot during the first 6-12 months of QST. This week pay attention to recognizing body language for what it is – a request for an appropriate attunement of the treatment at that moment.
