​QST-2 Child Therapist and Parent Trainer Course​  -> This course will be given in FRENCH
Montréal, Canada- May 2019
REGISTRATION DEADLINE : March 1st, 2019
​Course Framework (see table at bottom for complete schedule)
  • 5-day Intensive Training Retreat – Therapists will travel to Montréal, Québec for 5 days of initial training in QST2:  Friday-Tuesday May 3-7, 2019. Training will run from 9:00 am-5:00 pm each day. Distance supervision will continue through July 2019. 
  • 4 months of Clinical Supervision 
    – Therapists will work with a family with a child that meets the eligibility criteria. Read eligibility criteria here.
    – Families who participate in the clinical supervision will get access to the Online Parent Course free of charge.
  • Case Studies – Therapists will discuss their case studies on two different occasions at the half-way point of the treatment and at the end point of the treatment. (via Skype in a Group Conference Call) 

Training Fees and Expenses:
  • Course registration fee – 1995$ (+/-2545 CAD). The course fee includes the 5-day initial training retreat; all distance clinical supervision, access to the online QST2 training class and online parent course for the therapists and access to the online parent course for the families. Instructions on how to make payment will be sent to you after your registration is approved. 
  • Meals, Transportation and Accommodations – Therapists will need to make arrangements for and cover all their own meals, transportation expenses (including airfare and ground transportation) and accommodations near or in Montréal throughout the training. Meals and lodging are not included in the course fee. 
  • Please take the time to get to know the Qigong Sensory Treatment Training Course Prerequisites before applying for this course.

​Expectations:
Therapists participating in the QST-2 Child Therapist and Parent trainer course with distance clinical supervison will recruit a family with a child that meets the eligibility criteria (Read eligibility criteria here) to work with.  In addition, students will facilitate pre- and post-testing, complete all 20 treatments with the child over the 4-month training period, videotape a minimum of three QST treatments, review videotapes and progress notes with their supervising therapist, discuss their case studies on two different occasions and receive a satisfactory assessment of their performance by their supervising therapist..
