About Us
The Qigong Sensory Training Institute (QSTI)
was incorporated in the state of Oregon and designated a private, non-profit organization by the Internal Revenue
Service as of August 2008. QSTI's current board members include:
Holly Robinson, President
Holly Robinson is an attorney by training and has worked in
the fields of disability law, legislative law, health law, fair housing law,
and senior law and long-term care. She worked for the Oregon Legislature for 15
years and the Oregon Department of Human Services for 6 years. She also worked
for the ABA Commission on Law and Aging. Holly currently works for a regional
health insurer, where her focus is on Medicare. Holly has published widely on
the subject of Fair Housing and Seniors with Disabilities.
Kristen
Gabrielsen, Secretary/Treasurer and Project Manager
Ms.
Gabrielsen has conducted project director
and management duties for over 17 years. She has a Master in Public
Health
degree. Ms. Gabrielsen was trained in the Qigong Sensory Training
protocol in 2008. From 1998 to 2008, Ms. Gabrielsen served as the
associate
director for a federally-funded project that covered 17 states and
pacific
jurisdictions. She was responsible for the infusion
of scientifically defensible practices into state level programs
through the
management staff, oversight of technology-related projects, and
responsibility
for on-going communication with federal and state officials.
Louisa
Silva, Board Member
Dr.
Silva received her Medical Degree from the University of
California, Los
Angeles in
1979, her Master of Public Health degree from the Medical College of
Wisconsin
in 2003, and has integrated Chinese Medicine into her practice since
l990. Dr. Silva is a board certified fellow in the American
Academy of Medical Acupuncture. She is the lead
researcher and trainer on the Qigong Sensory Training protocol. Click here for more information on Dr.

Sarojini "Sudge" Budden, Board Member
Sarojini
(Sudge) Budden is a Developmental Pediatrician and Emeritus Associate
Professor of Pediatrics and Adjunct Emeritus Professor of Community
Health Systems and Family Nursing at Oregon Health and Sciences
University. She is the Founder and past Medical Director of the
Pediatric Development Program at Emanuel Children’s Hospital and
Pediatric Consultant to the Providence Neurodevelopment Center for
Children. Sudge is Past President of the Oregon Pediatric
Society. She is currently involved with the Oregon Commission on
Autism.
Linda Lee, Board Member
Linda Lee is a registered nurse and the mother of a child with autism.
